Silica Dust has been called the new Asbestos, mainly because of the slow appearance of symptoms, and therefore the complacency of many workers and employers to take the risk seriously. 
 
This Workplace Health & Safety Poster is aimed at confronting that complacency - especially that of workers. The information is confronting and briefly describes what Silicosis does and and how they could suffer and die.
 
Though there is a lot of information on this poster it is carefully designed to direct the reader through it. The main emphasis is on There is No Cure for Silicosis but it Can Be Prevented, followed by The Risk is Too Serious To Ignore, PROTECT YOUR LUNGS, and Steps that can be taken. The rest of the information is there only to support the main message.
