Vehicle incidents are consistently among the leading causes of worker and bystander injuries and deaths. This workplace safety poster is one of a series that asks IS YOUR VEHICLE GOOD TO GO? ... WHAT ABOUT YOU? 
It can therefore be used to address vehicle readiness to reduce the incidents based on component failure, and operator/driver readiness to reduce incidents based on operator failure.
 
These posters are aimed first at reminding workers of the importance of pre-start safety checks on their vehicles; and second at making sure they are personally fit for work which can be used to address suitable qualifications, state of mind (mental health), and physical readiness which would include issues related to drugs and alcohol, fatigue, and hydration, etc.
 
Though the background of two posters in the series are relevant to workers on main roads, the series is intended to be suitable for all vehicle operators/drivers including those in construction, mining, warehousing (e.g., forklifts), transportation and sales.
