The Safety Posters in this series also promote three approaches to Practicing Proactive Safety which help workers be more involved in workplace safety, and therefore more alert to the risks.
 
The most common factors involved in slips, trips and falling over in childcare workplaces are wet or slippery spills (including sand on smooth surfaces), unattended clutter, and uneven or damaged surfaces. This safety poster aims at reminding workers to look out for such things, and to take action to fix or isolate the problem even if they didn't cause it.
